Edward Marx

Edward Marx has served as Chief Information Officer at Cleveland Clinic, a $10 billion medical system where he was responsible for the development and execution of IT strategic planning and governance, driving optimal resource utilization, and team development and organizational support. He was also responsible for developing leaders and leveraging digital healthcare technologies to enable superior business and clinical outcomes.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic, Edward served as Senior Vice President/ CIO of Texas Health Resources. In 2015, he spent over two years as Executive Vice President of the Advisory Board, providing IT leadership and strategy for New York City Health & Hospital.

Edward began his healthcare service as a janitor while in high school where his commitment to patient care began. He later served as an anesthesia technician before transitioning to the information technology field. Concurrent with his healthcare career, Edward served as an Army combat medic before becoming a combat engineer officer.

Harry D. Fox

Harry D. Fox

Harry has broad experience with information systems and over thirty years working in IT leadership roles. He has a strong background and a focus on cybersecurity, healthcare systems, and strategic architecture. He has extensive experience in eCommerce, large scale systems development, data warehousing and business analytics. Experience in emerging strategy for cloud, blockchain and big data.

Harry was the Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer & Shared Services Executive at CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield from 2011 to mid-2018. CareFirst is a $9.0 billion not-for-profit health care company offering a comprehensive portfolio of health insurance products and administrative services to 3.2 million individuals and groups in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Northern Virginia.

From mid-2008-2011, Harry was the regional CIO for Kaiser Permanente’s Mid-Atlantic Region.  Harry had overall accountability for all IT products and services delivered to the Mid-Atlantic region, including KP’s Electronic Medical Record System (EMR), EPIC.

From 1999 to Mid 2008, Harry was a VP of Information Technology at Coventry Health Care (now Aetna), a national managed health care company.  His responsibilities included: all Internet, e-Commerce, EDI, Information Management, Data Warehousing and Business Reporting initiatives from strategy through implementation.

John Glaser Ph.D was the founding chair of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) and the Past-President of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). Since 2015, John has been a senior executive with Cerner. He joined Cerner as a part of the Siemens Health Services acquisition, where he was Chief Executive Officer. John is focused on advancing Cerner’s strategies and thought leadership position in the industry.

Prior to Siemens, John was Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Partners HealthCare. He also previously served as Vice President of information systems at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He has been a Senior Advisor to the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC). He is the former Chair of the Global Agenda Council on Digital Health, World Economic Forum.

John is currently a member of the boards of InTouch Health, the American Telemedicine Association, the eHealth Initiative, PatientPing and the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

Shantanu Nigam

Shantanu is a veteran entrepreneur with a passion for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and patient wellness. His drive is fueled by a unique background that spans healthcare and the transformative AI technology that has changed the way complex problems are understood and solved today.

Shantanu is the Managing Partner of SeedToB, a venture capital and private equity firm focused on healthcare AI startups. Previously, he was the Co-Founder and CEO of Jvion, a leading healthcare AI company that offers a range of clinical AI applications that prevent avoidable harm, optimize utilization, and improve health outcomes. Founded on top of a unique eigen vector based clustering math, Jvion was instrumental in defining Prescriptive Analytics market segment in clinical space. Jvion was rated by KLAS as the #1 Clinical AI company in the country both in terms of number of clients served as well as revenue.

Shantanu’s career path started in the late 90s when he founded an AI company that was shifting search algorithms from keyword-based to intent driven through the use of Eigenspace. Shantanu moved into Accenture’s Healthcare practice where he helped bring to market some of Accenture’s most innovative and leading-edge offerings. Shantanu earned his Bachelor of Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in India.

Marc Probst

Marc Probst is the former CIO of Intermountain Healthcare, a not-for-profit health system based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Marc has been involved with information technology and healthcare services for over 35 years. Prior to Intermountain, he was a partner with two large professional service organizations and served 7 years on the Federal Healthcare Information Technology Policy Committee assisting in developing HIT Policy for the U.S. Government.

In early 2020, the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) jointly recognized Probst as ‘CIO of the Year’. Marc has also been a board member of numerous healthcare information technology organizations and served as the board chair for the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives. He currently serves on several HIT company boards and is a board member of Nemours Children’s Hospitals.

Paddy Padmanabhan (1963 - 2023) was an award-winning business leader and trusted C-suite Advisor with a proven history of success in guiding key strategies across the healthcare and technology sectors. He was the co-author of the best-selling book Healthcare Digital Transformation - How Consumerism, technology and Pandemic are Accelerating the Future. He was the Founder & CEO of Damo Consulting, a digital transformation advisory firm focused on health systems, and DamoIntel Health, a pioneering digital health intelligence platform.

A respected and credible voice in healthcare technology, Paddy was widely considered a thought leader and expert practitioner in digital transformation and healthcare technology markets. He worked closely with C-suite leaders in healthcare organizations to drive digital strategies, organizational efficiencies, and patient outcomes. Prior to founding Damo in 2014, Paddy worked at globally recognized firms such as Accenture, GE, and Wipro. He had also been in Silicon Valley start-ups that went through successful exits. He was also the author of a previous book The Big Unlock – Harnessing Data and Growing Digital Health Businesses in a Value-Based Care Era, and hosted a widely acclaimed podcast featuring C-suite executives from healthcare and technology. Paddy was a sought-after speaker on healthcare digital transformation and was widely published and quoted in industry media on digital health technology trends.

Paddy was a graduate of the executive management program of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He held an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. He was CPHIMSS certified and held additional certifications from the Harvard Medical School.

Paddy lived in Chicago with his wife and two cats. He was also a professional singer/ guitar player and performed as a solo artist and with a classic rock and blues band.

Rohit is skilled in business and IT strategy, M&A, Sales & Marketing and Global Delivery. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, is a Wharton School Fellow and a graduate from the Harvard Business School. 

Rohit is the CEO of Damo, Managing Partner and CEO of BigRio, the President at Citadel Discovery, Advisor at CarTwin, Managing Partner at C2R Tech, and Founder at BetterLungs. He has completed executive education programs in AI in Business and Healthcare from MIT Sloan, MIT CSAIL and Harvard School of Public Health. Arpita has a knack for finding solutions and templatizing processes that helps Damo Consulting increase its brand impact with limited resources. Arpita has contributed to setting up the company’s collaboration platforms that enable everyone to work effectively across time zones.

Arpita is good at managing and organizing projects and events. She works closely with CXOs and marketing teams to plan and execute key brand and organizational initiatives. Bill Foland

Corey Thompson

Corey has over 15 years of executive experience in the conception, management, and delivery of technology to some of the most demanding locations on earth. 

Corey has spent over a decade successfully implementing technology solutions for manufacturing, construction, engineering, supply chain, maintenance, maritime, and the military. 

Corey’s career includes 10 years with CB&I as VP of Global Supply Chain and SVP of Technology and CIO. Prior to that he spent 23 years in the US Submarine Force culminating as the Resource Sponsor of the Submarine Tomahawk Cruise Missile program and the MK48 ADCAP torpedo program in Washington DC.

Corey is a graduate of the Stanford “Innovative CIO” course as well as the “Disruptive Innovation Strategy” course from Harvard University.

Amanda specializes in translating an organization’s needs and visions into a usable, human-centered technology or process. She helps founders and executives bring innovative ideas to life by effectively collaborating across business, policy, strategy, technical, data, and design teams. Through extensive work in the public health space, she collaborated with health plan and health system leadership, and state and federal officials to build an enterprise SaaS platform that transformed assessment processes for Medicaid patients and community health workers into smoother workflows that ultimately saved money, time, and expedited care authorization and delivery. In this role, she dove deeply into health policy, health data privacy, and has become an advocate for patient civil rights.

Amanda Havard is a former startup founder, tech strategist, and entrepreneurially-minded executive who lives to bring usable software to the areas that lack it. Leveraging her background in cognitive development from her time as a research fellow at the Peabody Research Institute at Vanderbilt University, she applies what we understand about how people think to design technology people can use and processes that help people thrive.

From digital media to public policy, from digital therapeutics to enterprise work tools, she insists that the world we live in and the businesses we build can be better if we invest in better experiences and better technology.

Scott Frederick is an experienced clinician, executive, healthcare technologist with over 20 years of experience designing, developing and implementing innovative clinical delivery models and technologies.

Scott specializes in working with healthcare stakeholders, user experience designers and developers to improve patient and provider workflows while achieving optimal health and business outcomes. He has advised numerous startup, as well as industry leaders with launching new products and refactoring existing platforms.

Scott is currently an advisor to OtherLeft, a strategic design and innovation consultancy and is also the founder of RPM Advisory Group, a remote patient monitoring and telehealth consulting company focused on helping wearable technology companies with commercialization strategies. Prior to founding RPM, Scott spent over 16 years as a critical nurse and healthcare informaticist.
