When the pandemic hit us, we were getting ready to head to the press with our final manuscript. We put the book launch on hold so we could review the impact of the pandemic on the themes in our book. We continued to remain busy with our work, in fact we were busier than ever helping our clients with their digital roadmaps as the pandemic accelerated the shift to virtual care models. A few months into the pandemic, we concluded that most of our original themes were still valid. Some things had obviously changed – at least for the short term – and we got back together to compare notes and update our commentary in light of the lessons from the pandemic.
